    I follow the instruction but I get that when I launch ytdl.win :

    After I added this extension, only then did I discover that I must also download separate software for it to work; when I tried, got 404 page.

    It’s literally written on the download page that you need to install the local component, you’re expected to read it if you want to use the extension. However, it is strange that you get a 404 error, can you confirm it's the GitHub link that does not work?
