For some reason this just straight up doesn't work for me. Tried to hide watched videos, shorts and mixes on youtube homepage but it just didn't work, there was no change and I have no clue why.

It works on my end. Did you restart the page after the installation?

This new update kinda ruined it for me since you cant globally search all the options anymore :(

I added global search back in the latest version, v2026.7.15.
