- Rated 3 out of 5by Max, 7 hours agoAt first it was a really good add-on for firefox based browsers. If you watch youtube regularly while this extension is enabled, I found that youtube takes for ever to load or not load at all. Once disabled I was able to load and watch youtube much smoother like normal. I have also noticed some other glitches on other sites with it enabled. I've had tabs crashing at times when I richt-click the mouse then tab crash or just gone leaving one open for me.

posted 6 hours agoThis makes neither sense nor can I confirm the YouTube issue. There is no relation at all between having this extension enabled and using YouTube. Also „some other glitches on other sites" makes no sense at all because this extension doesn't execute any code on websites. So it's just not possible. I also don't believe you the "crashing" part as the extension just uses WebExtension APIs and if it were true, a lot of extension would cause crashes. Another fact: There are more than 60,000 active users of the extension and there is not a single report for any of these issues. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 18538818, 10 months agoIt worked for about 10 mins (with google.com as new page) and then is stopped, leaving me back in the FF default home page. Maybe they'll fix it, idk.
Edit: Didn't change anything on the system. I fiddled with it for quite some time after. Also asked ChatGPT, ruled out AdBlockers, still could not work it out. Sorry but this shouldn't take more then a few minutes to set up. May FF is blocking it in some way.Developer response
posted 10 months agoI don't understand this poor rating. If the extension worked at first, then it can't be the extension's fault if it no longer works. You must have changed something on your system. The extension doesn't stop working on its own. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 18174079, 3 years agoKind of useless if the URL isn't automatically selected in a new tab. Having to ctlr+a and delete the url in each new tab before being able to type is not very helpful.

posted 3 years agoIt would be nice if you would ask before giving bad reviews for add-ons since what you want is not possible at all for WebExtensions. As there is no way to this, it's not fair to get a bad review for that reason. And by the way, 70,000 other users don't think that the add-on is "useless". - Rated 3 out of 5by A., 3 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by ScottTheMeme, 4 years agoExtension works perfectly except for keeping focus on the URL bar when the new tab is opened. I specifically wanted this addon for a website that would already have user input upon loading, and when it focuses on the URL bar I can't type in said user input.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 15129354, 4 years agoI gave this 3 stars because it has one major failing. When atab is opened I want it to go to the newly opened tab. This addon does not do that.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Merl[1] 19, 5 years agoWhen I open a new tab, it places the cursor before the test in the address bar instead of selecting the text in the adress bar. Typing in a search and pressing enter leads to a search containing my new tab url after my search terms
- Rated 3 out of 5by glocal, 5 years agoI tried it with a local file with a black background which turned white. It seems my dark theme is not handled well. The local page works well normally. I removed the addon for now.

- Rated 3 out of 5by DrOmedary, 6 years agoI greatly appreciate the dedication and skill of the developer, yet this add-on grealty lacks in documentation.
Having disabled the chronicle in firefox there was no add-on icon and no error message whatsoever. I wasn't even aware there should be one and could not set up the new tab url.
I already quit on Firefox out of sheer frustration, but the next day I realized BY CHANCE that the error was in disabling the chronicle.
Sorry to be blunt, but software without documentation is a job half done. If you really want to help others, tell them how to use that nice add-on of yours. - Rated 3 out of 5by Ugur, 6 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 12563984, 6 years agoEin nützliches Feature, das eigentlich zur Grundausstattung gehören sollte.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 12497474, 7 years agoEven with solid dark background color you still get white flashes. Clearly this needs to be solved at a deeper level than waiting for some HTML & CSS to load.
