by Firefox user 12517048, 6 years agoUPDATE 12/24 This is still the best downloader - HOWEVER - the plug in doesn't anymore with Youtube who keeps changing their data streams. Its like playing wack-a-mole. Currently, I'm using a beta version that is installed as an app. Hopefully in the future it can update this add on. The actual reason for coming back and updating is because the app stopped working on youtube. After reaching out for support, I quickly received a reply asking for info. Once he had that, I was given the info I needed to make one tweak and it all worked perfectly. This is a great app and hopefully the magic will be back in the add-on.
UPDATE 4/24 I'm still using this and it is THE BEST downloader for Youtube. Every time Youtube "breaks" the app, you can expect an update within a few days. Dont look any further. Download, install, and consider making a donation. I have in the past and will again to help support this app.

Every morning I visit a site called "daily effective prayers" This app never fails to download the daily prayer. I love the way you can select the format. Some prayers can be downloaded as audio as a fraction of the video size. There are very occasional glitches, but reloading usually puts things right. God bless

If I had read the instruction carefully - you have to type your mailaddress case sensitive; unfortunately mine begins with an uppercase letter - I could have used all features a bit earlier ;-)

It's intuitive enough to need no more than a simple explanation - which they provide initially; and you can save as a bookmark (I could). AND it doesn't take very much space - while providing the full quality! ...Based on which quality you choose. Since mp4 at 1 of the available qualities AND choosing 1 of 2 download speeds (for mp3) worked: I assume all the formats you can choose from, also work.
And finally: This add-on is not intrusive with ads.
I'm pretty completely pleased. I think it is complete enough to not need anything else. Since it has all features and options I truly need, and could reasonably ask for - AND since these work completely.
