- Rated 5 out of 5by Pillars Zhang, 3 days agoGreat add-on! I use it to hand off my ChatGPT web conversations to the Codex extension in VS Code. I know Codex Desktop can import them directly, but I prefer not to use it.
A few suggestions:
Add Markdown export. It would be the cleanest format and ideal for handing conversations off to other coding agents.
The current LaTeX export embeds about 1 MB of MathJax. Using a public CDN would also be acceptable.
Add an export option to Firefox's right-click context menu. - Rated 5 out of 5by Narasimha Kini, 15 days ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by DS, a month agoThis extension actually saves the whole page... not just part that is loaded. Great job!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19984072, 2 months agoу меня было более 30 сообщений в 1 чате. потеря была б критичной.
но все сохранилось без проблем. +++++ - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13399926, 2 months ago

Update 6/12/2026: ChatGPT API is returning a 401 error and not exporting the chat. - Rated 5 out of 5by thanks-dude, 3 months agoAs of May 2026, ChatGPT loads only small fragment of the full chat. It broke backing up with SingleFile and most other addons.
This addon is first I found that still works. There are minor visual issues, like multiline markdown comment from chatgpt reply that display **foo ... \n ... bar** instead of bold text and uneven markdown line break ***, but export is good enough. Images work too. Thank you for your work.
edit: I did find an issue. If chat has multiple 'paths' (< 1/3 > etc) addon can't export it - only last (here < 3/3 >) gets exported, not active or multiple 'paths'. - Rated 5 out of 5by Taro, 3 months agoReasons to give 5 stars: I have tested so far like 5 or more addons to save chat history in PDF or Markdown. The problem: for some reason they all do requests to third party servers, that and for some even weirder reason, they all render multi line code blocks with no endlines.
Yes, you read it well, they cut code lines in weird places, forcing me to waste precious time in manual editing to fix all code blocks.
This is the first addon that actually renders code blocks correctly. Putting line ends in correct places. That and no requests to third party servers.
So, it only does html, no markdown. Easy, export as html, then print to PDF file, then upload that PDF to ChatGPT, or any other, and ask it to resume as markdown in a copyable code block, copy, paste into your wiki, forum, personal notes, etc.
Also, the theme looks nice. Buy the dev some coffee, please. - Rated 2 out of 5by Simon Benedict, 3 months ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Madison, 3 months agoSomething is wrong, the extension used to be able to save extremely long sessions, im talking hundreds of messages, but now it wont save past maybe 50 or so

posted 3 months agoHi, I believe the issue you described has been fixed in the latest version (7.0.0). Since you're currently using it, everything appears to be working flawlessly on our end. Could you please share more details via the contact email? - Rated 3 out of 5by 56dJe, 3 months agoUpdated review (5/17/2026):
The extension works moderately well after initially not working at all, thanks to a responsive developer update addressing my previous 1-star review. Thanks developer!
Unfortunately the extension isn't outputting clean human-readable output due to ChatGPT's feature of adding contextual hyperlinks to certain output text (e.g., a hyperlinked "William Gibson" in the chat text is replaced with "entity["people","William Gibson","science fiction author"]" in the extension's output.
It would be nice to have the option to strip all "entity" information out and show only the simple, human-readable output. With this further update/change, the extension would be highly useful, not just moderately useful (due to the further editing currently required).Developer response
posted 3 months agoUpdate: The fix has been applied. You’re welcome to test and review it again. - Rated 2 out of 5by Phoenix, 3 months agoNot sure what happened, it worked fine at first, but now it only grabs whats immediately on the page and maybe a little higher. I didn't change any settings, I'm not a computer expert though.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13550550, 6 months agogreat extension! the html export is clean and beautiful. however, the toolbar icon (the download icon) is too small for visibility. would be great if it were in other color or a better icon. thanks.
update: 03/10/26 it seems recently chatgpt has some code change. when exported, each dialogue starts with "you said", "chatgpt said". it's rather redundant. can you remove that in the exported html? also, some parts in the text box would get cut off.
update: 03/20/26 the problem is fixed. thank you for your work.Developer response
posted 5 months agoWe believe the problem has been fixed now. Could you try again with the new version? - Rated 5 out of 5by Ibrahim, 7 months agoExcellent extension, saved my chat history in 2 seconds! All formatting is intact, but it would be nice to have support for block quotes.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Ricardo, 8 months agoWow - this tool can save the complete chat form chatGPT - also with correct and excellent formatting and styles... I can save locally - and best of all - later I can with this html format save to pdf --- so so crazy this tool! For me this is magic how that tool works - but it works - soo many thanks to Enes Saltik!!!!

- Rated 4 out of 5by proben, 9 months agoWorks perfectly as it should. I know the developer just implemented theme but I wish there was user control of that. I browse in dark mode but when saving long documents I always want them in light mode.
The other thing I would love to see here (if it's possible?) would be to save as RTF or Word directly so I can edit it in a word document and format it to my liking without having to edit HTML. Though it's not too traumatizing to get Word to import HTML so this app is still a win over the other tools out there that only generate PDF. - Rated 5 out of 5by alter_vue, 9 months ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Drakah, 10 months agoI now LOVE this extension. Being able to export the information based on the ChatGPT theme is a genius idea and works flawlessly. Thank you for updating it! (I edited my rating because of this! Thank you!!)
