by Firefox user 18814189, 2 years agoI've used this add-on for many years on both desktop and android, but the recent UI changes have made it so much worse. The android FF version just no longer works for me, any attempt to go into settings is a one-way trip needing a Firefox close-reopen to restore the browser. The auto-fill functions just don't work any more, no matter what I do with my tablet settings, and there are just too many possible combinations of BW and android settings, I can't keep track of what I've tried. It should not be so hard. Based on my previous experience I was going to have my elderly family members use it, but I can no longer recommend it - it's just about unusable. I have to reosrt to using the separate android app.

One of them isn't even self hosted...

- Rated 5 out of 5by NickCool, 7 days agoIf you host Vaultwarden yourself and Bitwarden version 2026.7.0 broke your sync with Vault, you need to update Vaultwarden to at least version 1.36.0, preferably the latest.

After updating the Bitwarden Firefox extension to version 2026.7.0, the vault remains stuck on the loading placeholders and no items are displayed.

- Rated 1 out of 5by potato, 9 days agoGo back to 2026.6.1 to get it working with self-hosted again. They broke it for firefox in 2026.7.0. The previous versions are here on the mozilla addons page under Version History > "See all versions" for Bitwarden. I'm not allowed to paste the url.

So nothing to complain, great extension and so grateful that selfhosted is supported.
