- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 20071905, 2 days agoif, like this extension's dev, you decide to throw out all of your good will and put up a $50 paywall with no warning, don't act surprised when you watch everybody leave
- Rated 1 out of 5by yu, 2 days agonow is 50$ paywalled.. I'm fine, time to remove after years using it, what a horrible update
- Rated 1 out of 5by fxbyte, 2 days agoThey are charging users an insane price for using this extension. It was never like this until now.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Clippy, 2 days agoThis used to be a great extension before the dev got greedy and is now asking an outrages FEE, or in the latest update asks you to login with your google account to see the rest of the tags that are now blurred out. Ya I don't think so.
This part is meant for the dev, you have already lost the trust of your users by deleting past working versions after your update angered most of us, and now your asking us to Pay a crazy fee or login to our google acc via your link to unlock the rest of the tags that were previously viewable using the extension.
I think you need to rethink your strategy. Maybe if you had charged a modest FEE of around $5 you wouldn't be getting the amount of backlash you are going to get now. In fact I like others here have never posted till now you gave us all a reason to now post.
While I understand creating and maintaining a plugin or extension takes work, maybe if you would have asked for a small fee like I mentioned and explained why you were introducing it you most likely wouldn't be getting people as angry as they are now, and for good reason as you pushed an update no one asked for just to charge some insane FEE or gather info via a google acc login. To have all tags unlocked.
I am sure most will now disable or completely remove your extension. - Rated 1 out of 5by Zoltier, 2 days agoThis worked great before in making YouTube display tags like it used to, but it's a blatant scam now, asking you to pay $50 dollars to view tags that you can view for free by right-clicking, selecting View Page Source, and searching "keywords" with Ctrl+F. What's worse is that seemingly in response to reviews mentioning workarounds with earlier versions, the author seems to have taken down all previous versions that functioned properly in hopes that people will have no choice but to pay for this obvious scam. Hope this garbage gets taken down by Mozilla.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 20071240, 2 days agoupdated to turn itself paywalled and has the audacity to ask for $50 for something that can just be inspect elemented
update: wait no its even bolder. it dares to say it's "50% off" (Presumably forever) and that the actual worth of this thing is 100 dollars. yeah.... no thanks
FAQ doesn't even mention why this was done
