I make a point of trying all of the networking apps and this is the most versatile, useful sniffer available. Take the time to look up what the settings do before you change them because everything is important, and install the client app. Most importantly, keep a jar next to your computer and every time you use the extension, put a dollar in for the developer. ;)

Only downloaded sound, not video. Then started behaving like malware -- won't let me delete files.

Used to be good until the recent update. I don't get the watermarks on my vids but I was forced to install a companion app then all of a sudden... ADS and Browser trying to be hijacked. You guys are horrible, you should be ashamed of yourselves for wasting our time with such a sh**ty change and recommending malware.

Have been using it for years now. The interface is simple, and it might be a good option for users not familiar with the command line.

Didn't give me any options to download YouTube videos as-is, only lower quality transcoded versions with a huge watermark. Had much better results simply pasting the link into a downloader website and got the full quality original MP4 stream without having to install an addon AND a desktop app.
