Privacy policy for TempMailer - Reusable temp email
TempMailer browser extension - privacy
- Anonymous use: the extension generates a random, anonymous identifier stored locally in your browser and sends it to the TempMailer backend only to fetch and display the temporary inbox(es) you create. No name or personal identity is required.
- Optional account: if you sign in to a TempMailer Pro account, your email and password are sent to our backend to authenticate; an access token is then stored locally in your browser.
- Emails received at your temporary address are stored by the TempMailer service so the extension can display them. We do not sell your data.
- Permissions used: local storage, clipboard write, and network access to the TempMailer backend — nothing more.
