Privacy policy for TabGain — Volume Booster
Effective: July 15, 2026
TabGain does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data or usage data. It has no analytics, telemetry, advertising, tracking, accounts, cookies, or network requests.
To provide its features, TabGain processes the following information locally in Firefox:
- tab titles, addresses, audible state, and mute state, solely to show the tabs in the extension popup;
<audio>and<video>elements in webpages, solely to apply the volume level selected by the user; and- the selected volume percentage, stored with Firefox's session API so it can follow that tab across reloads or a closed-tab restore.
None of this information leaves the browser. TabGain does not provide information to websites, the developer, or third parties.
The optional PayPal tip link appears only in the add-on's store listing. Following that link is a user-initiated visit to PayPal and is governed by PayPal's own terms and privacy practices; the extension itself does not contact PayPal.
