About this extension
SERP Garuda is a SERP counter that shows the true organic rank of every Google result. Google's results are full of ads, map packs, People Also Ask, forums, video carousels and AI Overviews, so the result you see at position 7 might actually be organic #1. SERP Garuda numbers the real organic positions for you, right on the page.
What it does:
Shows a clean numbered badge beside every genuine organic result
Skips everything that isn't organic: ads, local map packs, People Also Ask, Discussions and Forums, Short Videos, People Also Search For, and AI Overviews
Counts correctly across pages. If page 1 has only 8 organic results, page 2 starts at 9, not a hardcoded 11
Keeps the count continuous even when you jump from page 1 to page 3
Classifies by page structure, not by domain, so a Reddit thread inside a forum block is skipped, while the same Reddit URL as a normal result is counted
Works in light and dark mode, without moving or altering Google's layout
Stops at position 99, because rankings beyond that don't matter
Who it's for:
SEO professionals verifying rankings, content writers checking where their articles stand, and agencies preparing accurate client reports.
Privacy: No data collection, no tracking, no account. Counts are stored locally on your device and never transmitted anywhere.
