Reverse Playlist on YouTube by grad13

Reverse Playlist on YouTube adds a single order-toggle button to the playlist panel on the YouTube watch page, right next to the native Loop and Shuffle buttons.

• ↓ (default) — native downward order. The extension does nothing.
• ↑ — reverse order. When a video ends, playback moves to the item ABOVE it in the panel.

At the top of the playlist, playback simply stops. There is no wrap-around.

Manual controls follow the direction too: in reverse mode the player's Next control, Shift+N, and the OS media keys hop to the item above; Previous and Shift+P hop to the item below.

The extension navigates YouTube's own playlist panel — it does not build or manage its own queue. The panel item above the current one is literally the hop target, so the list context is always preserved.

Options page: two hop mechanisms are selectable.
- "spa" (default) — steers YouTube's own in-page router for a smooth transition.
- "native-queue" — converts the remaining items into a reversed temporary playlist once, then lets YouTube handle every transition natively.

Privacy: this extension collects no data whatsoever. It makes no network requests. The only permission it requests is "storage", used solely to remember your direction setting (↓ / ↑) and hop-mode preference across tabs.
