About this extension
ReelDock is a browser extension for people who run their own self-hosted ReelDock instance.
Open a YouTube video or Short, click ReelDock, and queue the video for conversion into an M4B audiobook on your ReelDock server.
Features:
• Queue the current YouTube video from the toolbar popup
• Send YouTube pages or links to ReelDock from the context menu
• View job status and progress in the extension popup
• Configure a default audiobook destination and import settings
• Optionally embed metadata, cover art, and chapters
• Optionally trigger an Audiobookshelf library scan
A self-hosted ReelDock server with the extension API enabled is required.
Configure the ReelDock server address and extension API token in the extension's Options page. Localhost may use HTTP; any other ReelDock server must use HTTPS.
The extension communicates only with the ReelDock server you configure. ReelDock does not operate a hosted cloud relay, analytics service, advertising service, or data broker for this extension.
Firefox 140 or newer is required. This initial release supports desktop Firefox only.
