About this extension
Ever lost a playlist? Videos silently go [Deleted] or [Private], Watch Later isn't included in Google Takeout, and there's no built-in way to save a copy of what you've collected over the years.
Playlist Exporter fixes that in one click:
⬇ EXPORT ANY PLAYLIST Open a playlist, click the icon, done. Works with your own playlists, public playlists, and your Watch Later list.
📊 THREE FORMATS
CSV — opens perfectly in Excel and Google Sheets (UTF-8, non-English titles safe)
JSON — for developers and backups
Markdown — a clean linked table for Notion, Obsidian or any notes app
📋 WHAT'S INCLUDED Position, title, video URL, channel name and link, duration, and a flag for unavailable (deleted/private) videos.
🔒 PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No sign-up. No server. The extension reads the playlist page you already have open and saves a file to your computer — your data never leaves your browser. No analytics, no tracking, nothing phoning home.
♾ FREE VERSION Exports the first 100 items of any playlist. Pro (one-time purchase, coming soon) removes the limit — no subscription, ever.
HOW TO USE
Open any playlist (your Watch Later is at youtube.com/playlist?list=WL)
Click the Playlist Exporter icon
Pick a format and click Export
Tip: to include deleted/private videos in the export, enable "Show unavailable videos" from the playlist's ⋯ menu first.
