XTK is the missing half of Xero Practice Manager. It adds a Documents area to XPM's own client pages, so your practice can manage a client's files, send them for e-signature, request documents and generate paperwork from templates without ever leaving the client you are already looking at.

Everything happens in a panel inside XPM itself — no second tab, no copy-pasting client details between systems, no exporting.

WHAT XTK ADDS

• Document management — browse, upload, rename, move and organise each client's files against their XPM record, with folder templates so every new client is set up the same way.

• E-signatures — send a document for signing, track who has signed, and get a desktop notification the moment it comes back. Void or chase what is still outstanding.

• Client portal — share files with a client, or request documents from them, through a link they can use without creating an account.

• Document requests — ask a client for the records you need, see at a glance what has arrived, and get notified on each upload.

• Templates — generate letters, engagement letters and forms with the client's own XPM details already filled in, so you are not retyping names and addresses.

YOUR FILES STAY YOURS

XTK does not host your documents. Files live in your practice's own Google Drive, OneDrive or SharePoint, under your own accounts and your own retention rules. If you ever stop using XTK, your documents are exactly where they always were.

WHERE IT RUNS

XTK only runs on practicemanager.xero.com, where it adds the interface, and on xtk.octabyte.app, where it picks up the result after you sign in. It does nothing on any other site.

GETTING STARTED

Install the extension, open any client in Xero Practice Manager, and sign in to XTK from the panel. You will need an XTK account: one plan covers the whole practice at $59 USD/month, with a 30-day free trial.
