Markdown Live Preview collects no data.

There is no account, no sign-in, no telemetry and no analytics. The extension
makes no network requests of any kind — every library it uses is bundled inside
the package and loaded from your own device, so all features work offline.

WHAT IS STORED, AND WHERE
Your documents and preferences are saved locally by the browser, using the
extension's own storage area on your device. They are never transmitted
anywhere. Uninstalling the extension deletes them, so export anything you want
to keep first.

FILES ON YOUR COMPUTER
Opening and saving .md files uses your browser's file picker and download
flow. The extension only ever sees the single file you choose. It cannot read
anything else on your computer.

DOCUMENT CONVERSIONS
Converting to and from PDF, Word, HTML and JSON happens entirely in the browser
tab. Files are read into memory, converted by bundled libraries, and written
straight back to your device. Nothing is uploaded at any point.

PERMISSIONS
storage — saves your documents and preferences on your device.
unlimitedStorage — imported Word and PDF documents embed images as data URLs,
which can exceed the browser's default 5 MB quota.

The extension requests no host permissions and registers no content scripts, so
it cannot read or modify any website you visit. It runs only on its own editor
page.
