Just Ayah collects nothing. There is no analytics, no tracking, no account, and no server operated by us.

Your settings. Your preferences—including your selected reciter, translation and tafsir edition, prayer calculation method, language, background, and bookmarked verses—are stored locally in your browser. They never leave your device unless you choose to export them from the Settings page.

Location. Location is used only to calculate prayer times, and only if you enable the prayer times feature. Your coordinates come either from your browser's location service (with your permission) or from a city name you enter. They are sent to nominatim.openstreetmap.org only to convert coordinates to a place name and vice versa. The result is cached locally on your device. We never receive your location because we operate no server.

Content fetched as you read. The Qur'an text, adhkar, fonts, and adhan audio are included in the extension, allowing the core features to work offline. Optional content is downloaded only when needed and then cached locally:

Translations are fetched from quranenc.com.
Tafsir is fetched from cdn.jsdelivr.net.
Verse-by-verse recitation is streamed from everyayah.com.
Adhkar recitation is streamed from hisnmuslim.com.

As with any website request, these services receive your IP address to deliver the requested content and handle it according to their own privacy policies. We do not send them any information that identifies you.

Children. Just Ayah is suitable for users of all ages and does not collect any personal information from anyone.
