HLTB for Steam — Unofficial by DevLn

HLTB for Steam displays HowLongToBeat completion time estimates directly on Steam game pages.

Three categories are shown for each matched game:

• Main Story;
• Main Story and additional content;
• Completionist.

The extension works in Chrome, compatible browsers, and the Steam desktop client. In a regular browser, it retrieves current data from HowLongToBeat. If the service is unavailable, it uses the local cache or the packaged database. Inside the Steam client, the extension works offline using the packaged database.

Games are matched by Steam App ID or exact title. Uncertain matches are not displayed. If no reliable match is found or completion time data is unavailable, dashes are shown instead of estimated times.

The extension contains no advertising, analytics, or telemetry, requires no registration, and does not use a developer-operated server. When current data is requested in a regular browser, the title of the open game is sent to HowLongToBeat.
