Genviral Social Lens inspects a supported public TikTok or Instagram page only after the user selects the extension.

• It uses the activeTab and scripting permissions to access only the active page the user asks it to inspect. It does not monitor browsing in the background or request persistent access to every TikTok or Instagram page.
• Website content is processed locally in the browser, including public creator details, content metadata, engagement counts, page capabilities, commercial disclosures, and audio context.
• If embedded information is incomplete, Social Lens may request the same page again from TikTok or Instagram using the browser session already held by that website. The extension does not read or store credentials or cookie values.
• Inspected page snapshots remain in the extension popup and are not sent to Genviral or third parties. They are not sold, used for advertising, or used to train AI models.
• Only selected KPI identifiers by platform and page type are retained in local browser storage. Uninstalling Social Lens removes that extension storage through the browser's normal removal process.
• Social Lens does not collect personally identifiable information, health information, financial or payment information, authentication information, personal communications, location, web history, or user-activity telemetry.
• All executable code is packaged with the extension. Social Lens does not load remote executable code.
