Privacy policy for ChronoNews — Google News Organizer
ChronoNews — Google News Organizer by ChronoNews
Last updated: August 5, 2026
ChronoNews does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information, browsing history, page content, or usage analytics.
The extension locally reads elements already displayed on https://news.google.com/* to identify story titles, sources, timestamps, sections, and links. This information remains inside the user's browser and is not sent to any external server.
Firefox stores only the preferences selected by the user, such as chronological order, filters, location preferences, and interface settings.
The automatic location feature only reads location information already displayed by Google News on the current page. ChronoNews does not access GPS, request geolocation permission, inspect the user's IP address, or use an external geocoding service.
Copy and CSV export actions are initiated by the user and create content only on the user's device.
ChronoNews does not use analytics, advertising, trackers, proprietary cookies, accounts, login systems, or remotely hosted code.
ChronoNews is an independent extension and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google LLC.
