ChatGPT Search for Firefox does not collect, store, sell, or transmit user data
to the extension developer.

When you search from Firefox's address bar while ChatGPT is the selected search
engine, Firefox transmits your search terms directly to
https://chatgpt.com/. Mozilla classifies this as required searchTerms data
transmission, and the extension declares it as such. Your use of ChatGPT is
governed by OpenAI's terms and privacy policy. The extension code does not
intercept the query, proxy the request, retain it, or send it anywhere else.

The content script only sets the data-search-extension="1" attribute on the
root element of ChatGPT pages. It reads no page content and makes no network
requests.
