Terms of Service & Privacy Notice
By continuing, you (the parent or legal guardian) agree to the terms below and
provide consent, on behalf of your enrolled student(s), for the data practices
described here.

1. Terms of Service
   This platform helps families request and manage educational funding through your
   school program. You agree to use it only for that purpose and to provide accurate
   information.
2. FERPA — Education Records (Annual Notification)
   Your student's information here constitutes an education record under the Family
   Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). As a parent/guardian you have the
   right to inspect and review your student's records, request corrections, and
   control certain disclosures. To request a copy of your student's record, submit
   a written request to your program administrator (see Contact, below); requests
   are fulfilled manually.
3. COPPA — Consent for Children Under 13
   For students under 13, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
   requires verifiable parental consent before we collect or use their personal
   information. By accepting, you consent to our collection and use of your student's
   information (including name, date of birth, grade, and special-education status,
   sourced from your school's records system) solely to operate the funding program.
4. How Your Student's Data Is Shared
   We share the minimum data needed to run the program with these service providers:

Resource & curriculum providers receive a student's name, date of birth,
and grade level when you order a resource that the provider must provision an
account for (enrollment provisioning).
Payment processors (e.g. Bill.com) receive the information needed to issue
reimbursements and vendor payments.
CRM (HubSpot) and identity (Wix) providers support your account and the
sync of your student's records from your school.
Amazon — if/when direct ordering is enabled, order and shipping details
(which may include a home address and student name as recipient) will be shared
with Amazon to fulfill purchases.
We do not sell your student's personal information.

1. Data Retention
   We retain a student's personal information for 4 years after the student
   disenrolls, after which it is anonymized (personal identifiers removed) and
   attached receipts/invoices are deleted, except where a longer period is legally
   required.
2. Cookies
   We use necessary cookies to keep you signed in and operate the site. By accepting
   you consent to this use.
