This Privacy Policy applies to the Firefox extension Astergrove Bookmarks.
The extension reads Firefox bookmark information locally to display, search, edit, move, and delete bookmarks in a tree interface.
The extension does not send bookmark information to a server operated by the developer.
To display website icons next to bookmark items, the extension sends the displayed bookmark URL to the following Google favicon service:https://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain_url=<bookmark URL>
A bookmark URL may contain a domain, path, and query parameters.
As part of an ordinary HTTPS request, Google may also receive network information such as the user's IP address and browser information.
The extension makes this request solely to retrieve a favicon image.
Google processes information it receives under Google's own terms and privacy policy.
The developer does not collect, store, sell, or use users' bookmarks, search text, browsing history, or personal information.
The extension contains no developer-operated analytics, advertising, tracking server, or tracking SDK.
The extension stores display colors, fonts, panel dimensions, folder icon selection, and similar preferences in local storage assigned to the extension by Firefox.
These settings are not transmitted externally.
