Version 1.3.0
Released Jul 23, 2026 - 974.04 KBWorks with firefox 142.0 and laterVersion 1.3.0 — a new Review tab with two new lenses
The popup is reorganized into four tabs — Simulation, Review, Scan, and AI Check — with full ARIA tab semantics (arrow-key navigation, proper screen reader announcements).
New: manual review lenses. The Review tab now offers three lenses that draw the page's structure directly on the page for you to judge (one at a time):
• Focus path — keyboard focus order with numbered markers and orange hints for possible jumps (previously under Machine Test).
• Heading structure (new) — an h1–h6 outline with level badges, including screen-reader-only headings that sighted reviewers cannot see, plus hints for skipped levels, missing/multiple h1, and empty headings.
• Landmark regions (new) — header/nav/main and other landmarks drawn as labeled regions, with hints for missing or duplicated main, same-type landmarks without distinguishing names, and content outside every landmark.
Orange marks are review hints, not confirmed WCAG failures — you decide.
Also in this release:
• axe-core rule descriptions now display in Traditional Chinese when your browser language is Chinese (official axe-core zh_TW locale). Severity labels are dual-written (嚴重(critical)) so cross-functional teams and engineers stay on the same page.
• Accessibility fixes to DevCheck's own UI: scan findings are now keyboard-operable buttons, icon buttons have accessible names, and the PDF upload has a proper label.
All lenses, simulations, axe checks, and PDF checks run locally in your browser. Nothing new is sent anywhere.Source code released under All Rights Reserved
