About this extension

🧩 The add-on offers flexible allowlist and blocklist modes in its settings, so you can tailor deduplication to different situations.
Allowlist mode (exclusions): Deduplication is enabled on every site by default except those on the list. Listed sites may be opened more than once; all other sites are deduplicated automatically.
Blocklist mode (active scope): Sites may be opened more than once by default, and deduplication is enabled only for sites on the list. Only listed sites are deduplicated automatically.
Rule management: Enter one rule per line; use a domain to match an entire site, or a full URL to match pages whose addresses begin with it. Blank lines and duplicate entries are removed automatically when you save.

✨ Add-on features:

Smart deduplication: Automatically ignores common tracking parameters and page fragments in URLs, so the same page is recognized accurately even when its links differ slightly.
New-tab checking: Checks every regular new tab as it opens. When a duplicate is found, the new tab is closed and the already open page is brought forward.
Scope isolation: Deduplication stays within a single browser window; separate windows and Firefox containers do not affect one another.
Pinned-tab protection: Pinned tabs, Zen Browser pinned tabs, and Essentials are excluded. They are never closed and never affect regular tabs.
Immediate updates: After you switch modes or edit rules, regular tabs in the current window are checked again using the new settings.
Startup scan: Restored tabs are checked automatically when the browser starts, clearing duplicate pages left over from the previous session.
WeChat optimization: WeChat Official Account article links receive dedicated handling, so the same article is still recognized when it comes from different sharing sources.
Multilingual interface: The settings page can follow your browser language automatically, or you can choose a language manually with the “中/A” button.
